Christopher D. Thomas

Attorney at Law

Chris Thomas is a partner at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey (US) LLP, where he represents municipal and industrial clients on environmental and natural resources law issues.  A Phoenix resident since 1985, Chris graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law and Drake University after growing up in Omaha.  Chris previously served on the boards of the Arizona Center for Disability Law, the Upward Foundation and The Nature Conservancy, Arizona Chapter.  He and his wife Karen Peters have three sons, Jack, Sam and Ben.  Jack, though having Down syndrome and autism, enjoys participating regularly in the Gompers KEEN program, which provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities. In his spare time, Chris enjoys golfing and gardening.  Gompers is pleased to have Chris represent Gompers with both the knowledge of disability law as well as the incredibly valuable insights of a parent.
