Gompers is always looking for caring, dedicated individuals to work with our program participants. Just as Gompers works closely with our participants to help them achieve their goals, we believe it is important to help our staff realize their greatest strengths and advance their careers.
Gompers begins this process within the first 90 days of employment, by providing 40 hours of training courses, ranging from CPR and First Aid, to Article 9: the rights of people with developmental disabilities.
Gompers' leaders acknowledge that the program staff are the true experts, as they spend the most time with the program participants and best understand their individual needs. We empower staff to work closely with the participants to help them achieve their goals in a safe and comfortable environment.
